Girl's Day in Carmel

Sunday, Jen and I headed out with Melissa and Kim to Carmel. The girls wanted a girl day away and what's more fun for four girls than Carmel! The drive is nice and the air was cool, something all Fresnans are looking for in September when it's still 100 degrees! Well, it was technically still August, but close enough.

Laying out on the beach - not too hot and not too cool

The waves were really big that day

A nice cup of coffee to keep us going. It felt great to actually want a hot cup of coffee in the middle of the day!

The Bougainvillea is just beautiful over there along with all the flowers. One of my favorite things about the Central Coast is all the beautiful flowers that grow there.
This is one of 10 pictures they took with the manikins that in store fronts. Goofy girls....

Had to have a bowl of chowder before we left. This place is right on the end of the pier at Cannery Row.

These pictures are for any of the men who actually read my blog. You can't go to Carmel without seeing the elite of the elite in vehicles. I think we saw two of them while we were there. If I'm correct, this yellow one is a Lotus and the red one above is a Ferrari. I thought the yellow interior was so cool and I'm not that into cars!

That has to be the biggest thing I miss. We love the beach too. Your funny with the car thing. Joanna's biggest thing for cars is the "cute" factor. I could say that car is so sweeet!! it has this, and this, and this and she would say...Is cute. or, its not sute which then makes the $150,000 car not cool to her. Anyway, I hope you are having a great day.
